About Me

Hello there, and thanks for visiting my website. Let me tell you a little more about myself...... Born into a family of animal lovers, I have always lived with and loved all animals. Over the years my family have owned a menagerie of animals including dogs, cats and a variety of small furries.
When I moved into my first home many years ago now, the first thing I did was to get three cats to keep me company. Sadly two have since passed but I still have my old timer of 16 years, a handsome black chap called Fatty along with a cheeky young ginger lad named Pumpkin and the latest edition to my family, the naughty but lovable Charlie. I also have two extremely cute guinea pigs who are father and son, called Armande and Rolo. They live inside in the warm all winter and spend the summer in the garden mowing my lawn for me.

In 2006 I returned to university to study for a degree in Animal Management. During this time I spent some weeks undertaking work experience at South Essex Wildlife Hospital in Orsett, where I cared for everything from owls and foxes to rabbits and ferrets. I then spent a couple of months doing voluntary work with Goddards Veterinary Group, which I found both interesting and rewarding. I now volunteer in my spare time with the Hornchurch and District Cats Protection branch, as a homing visitor and fosterer for them.

Dylan, rescue moggy.
So there's a little about who I am, and I hope that maybe you feel you know me a little better now because I understand that allowing someone not only to care for your beloved pet, but also into your home is a big decision. If you have any questions at all please dont hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to meeting you and your pets,
Gill
